A Family Business.

After Nickie was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer and Aaron was laid off from Sprint in 2017 they began independently cleaning houses to provide for their family.

How did this all start?

Nickie grew up in a small town called Parsons, Kansas and lived with her mother and grandmother for most of her childhood. Her grandfather worked for the Katy Railroad. Her dad was a warehouse worker and her mother was an office worker and CNA. Aaron grew up in Olathe, spending his childhood as a latchkey kid while both of his father worked as a salesman and mother as an executive assistant. Aaron and Nickie met at the Machine Shed in Olathe at a Jaycee’s meeting, and have three kids together. Their two oldest, Aidan and Nina, assist in their roles as the marketing team for Boltz. Always surrounded by family, Nickie was taught to make the most out of every opportunity, and in 2016 when she was diagnosed with cancer and Aaron was laid off from Sprint, they took the challenge head on and together they started Boltz Cleaning Services.

Clean Less. Live More.

Every moment counts, so at the Beginning of 2020 Boltz Cleaning Services got involved with Cleaning for a Reason, an ISSA Charity, that helps cancer patients focus on their treatments and spending their most important moments with their loved ones by providing house cleaning services.

 Our Family.

Boltz Cleaning Services is a family-owned business.  Aaron and Nickie own and run the business as a husband and wife team, and Nickie’s mother and the Boltz’ kids help behind the scenes as well.

Nickie and her mother Cecelia

My mom, Cecelia, moved from Parsons, KS to Johnson County, KS to be closer to me, her only daughter, 19 years ago.  Within those years, she helped me plan my wedding, she was there when all 3 of the kids were born, she helped me go through a cancer diagnosis, and now she is helping us with our business.   She has over 30 years of cleaning, customer service and sales experience.  She is currently our Customer Sales Representative.  She talks to potential clients about our services and arranges the in-home estimates with Aaron.

Our kiddos, Aidan, Nina and Asher help out in the summertime with marketing.  They hang door flyers in neighborhoods before they head to the pool to meet up with friends.    Seeing the difference cleaning makes in the lives of our clients fuels the spirit of the Boltz family at the end of each day.
